To users of the new CAMT website:

Access to "CAMT Members Only" is through the use of the email address you gave to CAMT as the username, and your first name as the password (Note: first name is case sensitive).  It is strongly recommended that you change your password to something more secure the next time you log in.  Logging in will allow access to such items as CAMT and IFOMT constitutions, as well as the site for editing your own biography.

Please remember that we had some difficulty when we tried registration through CPA.  If your e-mail address is correct, you will be able to edit your biography NOW!  Simply go to the CAMT members only section, click "edit my biography", and instructions will direct you.

You will need to register for the year by filling out the registration form (available in the CAMT Registration section), in PDF format, and send it along to Rhonda Reardon, secretary of CAMT, along with your payment of dues.  Please make your handwriting easily readable, as we will have to enter the data into our computers, and handwriting is the greatest source of data errors.

Hopefully, this will be the last time that you will have to do this, as we are hoping to have registration available on-line in the future.  We have made a lot of changes in the last while, and we are still learning.  Please be patient.

The names and e-mail addresses of the individual website managers are:

  1. David Evans                    Continuing Education
  2. Doug Bourne                     Literature Page

A quick note from Jill and Rhonda regarding registration:

Hello CAMT member,
If you have not gone through the short process of updating the website with your bio, your name does not appear under "Find a Therapist". This means that when another therapist wants to refer a patient who is visiting or moving to your part of the country, they won't know you exist or where to find you. Same goes for the general public, doctors, or third party payers. Just sending in your registration does not get your name etc under the "Find a Therapist" category which is the section most frequently visited. Your executive has allocated a sizable percentage of your annual dues and a great deal of time (mostly Michael Ritchie's) to this project and would like to continue to develop this as a means of PR to the public etc but it would be embarrassing to promote it and then have visitors thinking there are only 3 CAMT physios in NS, for example. Please demonstrate your dedication to this project by writing your brief bio info and then we will be inspired to continue developing the promotion of this Academy. We would also like to use this medium as a communication tool with members for discussion and voting on issues. This is your first communique so please reply to it so we can monitor the response ratio. Dawn Clark is our secretary so you can recognize this name and not delete future e-mails. She should be able to answer any questions that you have and if she can't she will find out the answer for you. Thank you in advance for taking a short bit of time to fill out the needed info for the website. It may become very popular once people start reading the Spin Doctors, a book you would be greatly interested in.

Talk to
you soon, Jill (Robertson, Chair CAMT)
